While in CA I self taught Photoshop and tried learning about freelance digital illustration. The reality of planned obsolescence in the booming PC industry of 90’s brought me to try computer animation. Had I walked out of Terminator 2 with the mind set of “Yea I wanna do that!” I may have found companies willing to hire art school grads with an interest in cgi. By the time I got thru a couple of years of night school the focus was on computer science people who new how to write code.
