All were assignments in an editorial illustration class.
Near the end of the term the instructor showed her work which I really liked.
I said ” The editorial aspect of your work is inspiring! The relation of image to the copy always adds up”
She replied ” Yes, but. The trick is, making 2 plus 2 equal 5 !”
My satisfaction with Bull by horns led me to find a thick volume of reference, entitled: Proverbs and Sayings, in which I found
about 30 quotes I could work with. The thumbnails made it into line drawings. Thought I would complete them digitaly but never made it that far.
